PoliciesRegistration: A non-refundable fee of $20.00 per student is required yearly at the time of registration and the first month’s tuition.
Payment of Fees: Tuition is based on a yearly figure broken down into 10 monthly payments for your convenience. There is a two month minimum for all dance lessons. First month and registration fee is due at the time of enrollment; the second month is due by the 8th of the month. There is no payment due for the last month of classes. Acting is broken down into 10 week sessions and payment in full is due at the time of enrollment. Music private lessons are paid one lesson in advance. No Refunds.
Automatic Payments: All accounts will have credit card information on file. Tuition is due the first week of each month, you will have until the 8th of every month to make a payment by cash or check. After the 8th of the month your card will automatically be charged for tuition. Absence does not excuse any late payments. Mail in or phone in payments are acceptable in the event of an absence.
Costume Fee: Dance students participating in our annual recital are required to purchase a costume. The fee is $65.00 per costume for Creative Movement students, $85.00 per student for Combination classes and $75.00 per costume for all other students. Costume fees include all accessories, props, and tights as needed. Costumes will be paid in 3 installments combined with tuition for the months of October, November, December.
Extreme Weather or Unexpected Interruption of Classes: If the school must cancel classes due to extreme weather or other events, missed dance lessons may be made up in a similar style and level. Music and Acting classes will resume the following week covering the material from the missed week.
Substitutions: The school reserves the right to provide a substitute teacher if the regularly scheduled teacher is ill or otherwise unable to teach classes. If a teacher ill and the school cannot arrange a substitute any missed classes will be made up.
Absence: Excessive absence or lateness may result in termination from school. Absence for any type of private lessons or Acting classes may not be made up. For music students, if there is 48 hrs or more notice and it is approved by the teacher, music students may do a makeup lesson. Dance lessons may be made up in a similar level and style.
Injuries: Parents, legal guardians of minor students and adult students waive the right to any legal action for any injury sustained on school property resulting from normal dance activity or any other activity conducted by the students before, during or after class time.
Photo and Video Release: The school is hereby granted permission to take photographs or video of the students to use in brochures, websites, posters, advertisements and other promotional materials the school creates. Permission is also hereby granted for the school to copyright such photographs in its name.
